With that said, I have been using both Taskade and Notion for a fair period and I have experienced Notion to be easier to use.
Maybe I am biased, but that’s my answer.
When you create a new page on Notion, for instance, it’s like a white paper without distraction.
From there, you can either start working on that page from scratch or you can use any of their templates.
And to maintain this simplicity in sync across devices is impressive.
Unlike Notion, Taskade somehow feels overwhelming to use with its extensive customization options.
There is a lot to play around with everything—the left sidebar, the middle pane, and the right sidebar.
It will take you more time to master Taskade than Notion. That’s for sure.
With that said, I might be wrong here. It’s based on my testing. Try both of them side by side to get a clear idea of which one’s easy to use [for you].

Here, you can view tasks based on different filters and customizations. You can, for instance, choose to look at tasks that are Upcoming, Due, tasks with no date, etc.
Creating a task inside Taskade is easy. Create a new project and add tasks to it.
As you do that, you shall see the same being reflected in the tasks tab.
Taskade allows you to assign tasks to specific members, set a due, date, set a priority, automate it, etc.
When it comes to project management, Taskade is scary and powerful, thanks to its AI Project Studio.
It allows you to manage your project using their AI-powered agents.
There are also other options to create and manage projects as well. You can start from scratch, start from tools like Notion, Todoist, and others, or start with one of their countless templates.
I tried their AI Project Studio. It’s amazing.
Just tell it what you want and it will turn it into reality.
For one, it’s fast alright. And it’s fantastic. Not to mention all the different views you can access while managing your projects.
Besides the list view, there are:

- Table view
- Mind map view

- and Gantt Chart view.
Notion
Notion is a little bit different when it comes to task management.
You see, it’s not primarily built to be a task or a to-do list manager.
That’s why you won’t see a dedicated task manager like Taskade.
That said, there is an option to create and manage tasks by creating checklists and ticking them off.
If your sole purpose is to use it as a task manager, I suggest Taskade would be better for you.
But if you are planning to use it as a project management tool, let’s check out Notion’s capabilities.
First things first:
Notion has the most easy-to-use project management features out there. You would think Trello, but no one even comes close, I mean it.
The thing that makes it so powerful is the fact that you can make it as simple or as advanced as you want it to be.
It allows you to create a page and inside it, you can create a database to manage your project(s).
When it comes to views, Notion supports:

- and Timeline view.
Additionally, there is Notion AI property right inside your projects. You can use it to smartly fill up the rows and columns.
Overall, I prefer and recommend using Notion for project management and Taskade for task management.

When we talk about managing projects, there is one thing we cannot omit: whether the software is team-friendly or not.
Taskade supports real-time collaboration. You can work on tasks, projects, and documents together with your team.
